Privacy
Robinson Surveillance Services takes customer privacy seriously. Surveillance systems handle sensitive information, and we believe customers deserve clear answers about who can access that information and why.
For third-party brands, platforms, cloud services, apps, recorders, and devices that we install, service, or support, Robinson Surveillance Services cannot make privacy guarantees beyond the terms, practices, and technical limitations of those manufacturers or service providers. Many modern surveillance products rely on outside cloud hosting, remote-access platforms, analytics services, telemetry, account systems, or vendor-controlled infrastructure. When those systems are used, the privacy practices of those third parties may apply.
Our EOAS systems are different.
Robinson Surveillance Services EOAS systems are not designed, configured, or used by us to sell, share, monetize, or provide customer information, video, telemetry, usage data, system data, analytics, or access records to third-party cloud hosting companies, data brokers, advertisers, marketers, or unrelated outside parties.
Access to an EOAS or Custom system is limited to:
-
Access authorized by the customer;
-
Maintenance, service, support, or system administration access by Robinson Surveillance Services as needed to support the customer’s system;
-
Law enforcement access when required by a valid court order, subpoena, warrant, or other legally binding process;
-
Law enforcement or third-party access specifically authorized by the customer.
Robinson Surveillance Services will not sell, rent, trade, disclose, or give customer information, system information, video, telemetry, contact information, or access information to anyone outside the circumstances listed above.
We also do not use customer information for marketing calls, marketing texts, marketing emails, mailing campaigns, robocalls, automated solicitation, or lead-sharing. We do not sell customer contact information. We do not provide customer lists to other companies.
When Robinson Surveillance Services markets its services, we do so through word of mouth, in-person contact, referrals, direct customer relationships, or general advertising. We do not believe surveillance customers should have to wonder whether their security provider is also treating them, their data, or their system activity as a product.
Privacy is part of the system design. With RSS, the customer is the customer, NOT the data source.
