Local By Choice
Robinson Surveillance Services isn't just cameras. We provide local IT, network, security, and related technology support for businesses that need someone dependable to call but don't need a full-time technician on staff.
We help with everyday computer problems, networks, Wi-Fi, internet outages, cabling, equipment installation, surveillance systems, access control, and situations where several different vendors are pointing fingers at each other. Instead of making the customer figure out whether the problem belongs to the internet provider, equipment manufacturer, software company, or another contractor, we help identify the actual problem, handle what we can directly, and coordinate with the right people when outside support is needed.
The biggest difference between us and many other service companies is that we are genuinely local.
The number on our van, website, and business cards is my direct number. You are not calling a message line, national call center, contractor directory, or dispatcher who sends whichever subcontractor happens to accept the job. You are calling the owner of the company - the person responsible for understanding the problem, getting it handled, and standing behind the work.
We're a family-operated business, and we intend to stay local. We are not trying to become a statewide or national service company. I've seen what often happens when service businesses expand too far: response times get longer, workmanship becomes inconsistent, customers deal with unfamiliar people every time they call, and personal accountability gets replaced by ticket numbers and scripted answers.
That's not the business I want to build.
We intentionally limit the number of ongoing service customers we accept so we do not overextend ourselves. That allows us to become familiar with each customer’s location, equipment, operations, and priorities. When something goes wrong, you should not have to start from the beginning and explain your entire system to a different person every time.
I do this work because I genuinely enjoy the challenge of finding problems, developing practical solutions, and implementing them correctly. I also believe in saving customers money wherever it makes sense. That does not mean using unreliable equipment or cutting corners. It means repairing what can reasonably be repaired, using existing equipment when it still meets the need, avoiding unnecessary upgrades, and recommending solutions based on value rather than simply selling the most expensive option.
Our goal is not to sell customers as much equipment or labor as possible. Our goal is to solve the problem properly, protect the customer’s operation, and build a relationship where they know exactly who to call the next time something comes up.
We are not trying to become the largest technology service company. We are trying to be the local company our customers never regret calling.
